Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
JobberWise (“the app”) is a personal tool that turns screenshots of job openings into email drafts. This policy explains what data it handles, why, where it is kept, and how to remove it.
1. Data the app collects
- Your Google account email address. Used only to identify you and to check you are on the access list.
- A Google OAuth refresh token. Stored so the app can send email on your behalf when you press send.
- Content you add. Resume PDFs, writing samples, profile links, and profile details you choose to enter — which may include your phone number, location, notice period and salary expectations.
- Screenshots you share. Images of job openings, used to produce a draft.
- Drafts and sending history. The emails generated for you, their recipients, and whether they were sent.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies. The only cookie set is a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in.
2. Google user data
Signing in requests two things: your email address (via openid and email), and permission to send mail on your behalf (gmail.send).
The app cannot read, search, modify or delete any message in your mailbox. The gmail.send scope only permits sending. No broader Gmail permission is requested.
Email is sent from your own Google account, so sent messages appear in your own Sent folder. The app never sends from anyone else’s account.
JobberWise's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Where data is stored
- Cloudflare R2 — resume PDFs, in a private bucket that is not publicly readable.
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — your email address, refresh token, resume metadata, writing samples, links, profile details, drafts and sending history.
- Vercel — hosts the application. Requests may appear in standard server logs.
Each account’s data is stored under its own identifier and every query is restricted to the signed-in account. Users of the app cannot see one another’s Resume, drafts, profile details or mailboxes.
4. Processing by Google Gemini
To produce a draft, the app sends the following to the Google Gemini API: the screenshots you shared, the summaries of your Resume, your writing samples, your profile links and the profile details you have saved. When you ask it to describe a resume, that PDF is sent too.
Data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising, and it is not shared with any party other than the infrastructure providers named above.
What Google may do with it
JobberWise currently uses the free tier of the Gemini API. Under Google’s terms for that tier, Google may use the content sent to it to provide, improve and develop Google products and services, and human reviewers may read it. That includes the screenshots you share and the resume summaries, writing samples and profile details sent alongside them.
Please take this into account when deciding what to store in your profile. If you would rather Google did not process content this way, do not put anything sensitive in the fact sheet, and be mindful that screenshots may contain other people’s contact details.
The current terms are published by Google at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms. If this deployment moves to the paid tier, this section will be updated and the date at the top of the page will change.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is kept until you delete it. You can remove Resume, writing samples, links and drafts at any time from inside the app, and deleting a resume also deletes the PDF from storage.
To revoke the app’s access to your Google account, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have your account and everything stored with it deleted entirely, email parsediyarishabh@gmail.com and it will be removed.
6. Security
Access is by Google sign-in and restricted to an explicit list of accounts. Session cookies are signed, HTTP-only, and sent over HTTPS only. Stored data is encrypted at rest by the providers named above.
No system is perfectly secure, and this is a personal project rather than a commercial service. Please take that into account when deciding what to store in it.
7. Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 16 and is not knowingly made available to them.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes affecting how your data is handled will be notified by email to the address on your account.
9. Contact
